Floridigenous Landscape was established by Peter Klinkenberg. Peter has extensive experience in the Florida landscape industry. As a top executive at one of the largest landscaping firms in the U.S., Peter was responsible for the the construction of a wide variety of landscape projects, from single family homes to multi-million dollar commercial projects. In 2012, Peter was joined by Matt Barnard, and both run different aspects of the business.
At Floridigenous Landscape, Peter and Matt are committed to providing the highest level of customer service to his residential and commercial clients. Peter is also dedicated to assisting his clients provide for Florida’s future with landscapes best suited for our unique environment.
Peter is a Florida native, born in Miami and raised in St. Petersburg. He served in active duty for 5 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, including a deployment to the middle east in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida. He and his wife Heather live in St. Petersburg. Matt, a native of St. Petersburg, serves as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the city or Treasure Island when he is not assisting our team with landscape operations, and has been doing so for over 15 years. He is married to Stacey Scott Barnard and lives in St. Petersburg with Stacey and his two daughters, Grayson and Lilly.
